The Dilemma of Science, Space, and Thought

December 25, 2003 By Charles Sven

Space prior to the Big Bang.
Space
Empty Space
The Arena of Space
It is:

Dimensionless space.
Unmeasurable space.
If we can’t measure it.
Science says:

It Doesn’t Exist.

Isn’t that wonderful, if we can’t measure
something, it doesn’t exist.

Hey !
Wait a minute.
I just had a thought.
That no one can locate or measure.

Dimensionless Thoughts.
Unlocatable thoughts.
If we can’t measure them,
Science must say they:

Don’t Exist.

Perhaps we need to call on René Descartes who said, “I think, therefore I am” to help science understand their dilemma.

We also need the likes of that great Mr. Feynman to help science recognize the need for formulating a concept when the measuring tools are not readily available.
